Building has been restored in 1989 to a twenty room hotel, each room
offering the guests direct telephone communication, and each room is
furnished with antique furniture...
ALL ROOMS INCLUDE : direct dial
telephone, shower and toilet, central heating. Some rooms include air conditioning, mini bar and TV. While our hotel has all the amenities and
conveniences of 20-th century life, we strive, through the efforts and
attitude of our staff, to recapture the spirit of an older way of living.
Those who stay with us will be welcomed as our guests and treated in a
personal manner infrequently encountered in an increasingly impersonal
age. Our rooms are tastefully furnished in an unpretentious style with old
furniture and hand-made carpets. Breakfast and twenty four hour bar
service are offered on the terrace. Overlooking the ancient Roman
Hippodrome, with its Egyptian Obelisk and Colossus, as well as the Blue
Mosque and Sea of Marmara, the magical terrace is a lovely setting for
drinks. Breakfast Hall at Terrace with view of Blue Mosque, Marmara Sea and

We stayed here in May 2004 and I have nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff. It is in an ideal location - lots of atmosphere all round and easy walking to everywhere. The staff were fantastic; behaved like our own little travel agency, helping with onward bookings in Turkish and advice on bus travel and arrangements. The hotel is lovely; quaint, authentic but comfortable and beautifully clean. The breakfast rooftop setting is glorious; time spent up there (and the breakfast) is a bonus. All up - a great choice... .
