"blue mosque area"

This is a great value 4 star hotel and its right in the blue mosque area, near the topkapi museum. The staff are friendly and I didnt feel like they had any hidden agendas, especially in a city like Istanbul. I found it on fine-time.com. You have to sample the rof-top restaurant at night time.

Stayed for 3 nights in January 2005 - great location - walkable distance to all the major sights. Staff all friendly, English speaking. Clean and comfortable. Great baklava 'coffee' shop at the end of the road, and near lots of decent, reasonable restaurants. Would stay there again.
